How and why was the Industrial Revolution a turning point for the development of modern times?
The Industrial Revolution was a turning point for the development of modern times because of all of the inventions that happened. Without any of the inventions that were created during the Industrial Revolution, nothing would have evolved to what we have today. Almost every invention that was thought up during the Industrial Revolution is still used today, but in modern form. Steam engines are still a huge part of our modern day life. These new revolutionary inventions that were made up during the Industrial Revolution inspired more countries to try and create new things. Each new invention that was created inspired another one to be made. If none of these inventions happened the Industrial Revolution wouldn't have been a huge turning point for the development of modern times. We now have modern technology such as railways, boats, steam engines and business machines because of all the inventions thought of during the Industrial Revolution.
